Altvest Capital has changed its name to Africa Bitcoin Corporation (ABC) — the first African listed company to adopt a Bitcoin Treasury strategy.

Altvest Capital has always been focused on funding and supporting SMEs, while providing tailored financial services and solutions through our subsidiary, Altvest Capital Solutions. With this pivot, we are enhancing our balance sheet by holding Bitcoin as a long-term corporate reserve asset, alongside our established SME lending and advisory activities.

ABC will therefore combine two strengths:

• Operating businesses that generate income and support SME growth, and
• A Bitcoin treasury strategy designed to strengthen our balance sheet and enhance long-term resilience.

Investor Participation

Investors can participate in ABC’s growth by subscribing to our listed securities. These instruments are:

• Corporate securities of a listed operating company, not units in a fund, collective investment scheme, or Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).
• Not redeemable at investor discretion. Exits must be achieved by selling shares in the secondary market, subject to market liquidity and the availability of a willing buyer.

What This Means

By investing in ABC securities, shareholders are investing directly in a publicly traded operating company, not in a pooled investment vehicle. Investor returns are linked to the performance of ABC as a business — including its SME activities and its corporate treasury strategy — underpinned by the governance, transparency, and protections of a listed company.
